What You’ll Do
- Provide highquality prehospital emergency medical care and safe patient transport
- Perform advanced life support interventions within Maine EMS AEMT scope of practice
- Collaborate with paramedics, EMTs, nurses, and physicians across the MaineHealth system
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient interactions accurately and timely
- Operate emergency vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with Maine EMS regulations
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Completion of EMT-Advanced course required.
- License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) EMT-Advanced license required. Valid driver’s license required. Current BLS certification required.
- Experience: N/A
