What You’ll Do
As an EMT with Xzyon EMS, you’ll work alongside another EMS professional to provide safe, compassionate, and professional care during interfacility medical transports.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing BLS patient care during transport
Assessing and monitoring patients
Safely operating company ambulances
Communicating professionally with patients, families, healthcare staff, dispatchers, and crew members
Completing accurate and timely patient care documentation
Maintaining ambulance and equipment readiness
Providing an excellent experience for our patients and healthcare partners
Representing Xzyon EMS professionally at every facility we serve

Requirements:

Due to Xzyon EMS’s commercial automobile insurance requirements, candidates for this position must have a minimum of two (2) years of professional EMS experience.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of professional EMS experience – REQUIRED
Current Georgia EMT license/certification – REQUIRED
Valid driver’s license
Driving record that meets company and commercial insurance requirements
Current BLS/CPR certification
Ability to safely operate an ambulance as part of regular job duties
Strong patient care and communication skills
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
Ability to perform the physical duties associated with EMS and patient transportation
IMPORTANT: Applicants with less than two years of professional EMS experience do not currently meet the driving eligibility requirements of our commercial automobile insurance program and will not be considered for this position.
Candidates must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment requirements and credential verification before beginning employment.
