Description

Assess a patient's conditions and provide initial treatment to the level of their scope of practice. Assisting healthcare professionals by monitoring vital signs, providing care, and performing skills to their scope of practice. Relaying important medical information about patients to medical staff in the pre-hospital setting and upon arrival to Emergency Department. Charting of the assessments and treatments in the appropriate patient care records. Is responsible for adhering to standards of ethics recognized by the Office of Emergency Medical Services

Requirements

• Current Wyoming EMT-Paramedic license required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and PHTLS Health care Provider within three months of hire.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines.
• Must meet current facility age requirement to drive specially equipped emergency vehicle to specific location.
• Current Wyoming Driver's License.
