Company Overview

We are the Biddeford Fire Department, an organization of 45 career and 20 call force members that are all dedicated professionals serving the citizens, visitors, workers, and students of Biddeford and our mutual aid neighbors.

Established in 1855, we have a proud history of protecting and caring for the city rising where the water falls. Annually the men and women of this department respond to over 5,300 emergency calls with pride and professionalism providing fire suppression, medical care and transport, specialized rescue, hazmat response, and public education.
