AMR is hiring an EMT Advanced to provide high-quality emergency and non-emergency medical care and transport for diverse patient populations. In this role, you will perform advanced life support interventions, conduct thorough patient assessments, administer medications within scope, and document care accurately. You’ll work closely with paramedics, dispatch, and hospital teams to ensure safe, timely transport. Provide advanced life support and high-quality pre-hospital patient care within EMT Advanced scope of practice
Conduct thorough scene size-ups and patient assessments for trauma and medical emergencies
Administer approved medications, manage airways, and perform critical interventions
Safely operate and assist in the transport of patients in emergency and non-emergency situations
Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in electronic patient care reports
Communicate effectively with dispatch, partner agencies, and receiving healthcare facilities
Maintain cleanliness, readiness, and inventory of ambulance, equipment, and supplies
Follow AMR safety protocols, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Participate in ongoing training, skills evaluations, and quality improvement activities
Provide compassionate, professional service and represent AMR positively in the community

Current state EMT-Advanced or AEMT certification/licensure
Valid CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers
ACLS and/or PALS/PEPP (or obtained shortly after hire, as required)
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
EVOC/CEVO or equivalent emergency vehicle operations training
Completion of approved EMT Advanced training program
Ability to meet state and local EMS regulatory requirements
