Description

Hebrew SeniorLife, a Harvard Medical School–affiliated nonprofit senior care leader, seeks a part-time EMT Dispatcher/Security professional (16 hours/week). In this on-site role, you will answer and triage emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch EMTs and security staff, and monitor alarms and cameras to protect residents, visitors, and staff. You’ll complete accurate incident documentation, support safety rounds, and collaborate closely with nursing and clinical teams. Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls from residents and staff
Dispatch EMTs and security personnel to incidents and medical transports
Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems for resident and facility safety
Document incidents, calls, and responses accurately in logs and systems
Coordinate with nursing, clinical teams, and external emergency services as needed
Perform security rounds and safety checks in buildings and on grounds
Support residents, visitors, and staff with directions, escorts, and safety concerns
Follow HIPAA, safety, and emergency management protocols and policies
Emergency dispatching

Basic life support knowledge

Security patrol procedures
